We are the Catholic Charismatic Renewal members, under the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, at St. Peter Xavier Parish, Mbezi Louis.

The group is situated at the College Campus of St. Joseph University in Tanzania, College of Engineering & Technology, run by Sisters of Daughters of Mary Immaculate and Collaborators - DMI, main campus Dar es Salaam.

The Dar es Salaam campus is currently offering bachelor degree program for engineering in Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Systems & Network Engineering. Bachelor of Education in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. It also offers diploma programs for the similar courses and certificates modules.

Catholic Charismatic Renewal 

Catholic Charismatic Renewal at St. Joseph University in Tanzania (CCR - SJUIT) is operated under the guidance of Inter Universities Charismatic - Tanzania (Umoja wa Vyuo Vikuu) which involves all Catholic Charismatic communities for all Universities in Tanzania.

This includes University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), Institute of Finance Management (IFM), Ardhi University (ARU), Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Kampala International University (KIU-DSM campus), Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT), College of Business Education (CBE), International Medical and Technological University (IMTU), University of Dodoma (UDOM), St. John's University.

Programs: Catholic Charismatic Renewal-St. Joseph University in Tanzania conducts different seminars including Spiritual Life for beginners, Growth seminars, Relational seminars, Career development programs, Prayers, Praising and Worshiping, Gospel Proclamation guiding, Deliverance sessions.

Ministries: The group operates in different ministries available which include: Evangelism Ministry, Praise and Worship Ministry, Intercession and Prayer Ministry, Social and Welfare Ministry, Marriage Affairs, Deliverance Ministry, Leadership Ministry.


Leadership: With the help of appointed leaders, this is guided by a nearby Catholic Center- AGAPE Spiritual Center (Mbezi-Kibanda cha mkaa), under Rev. Fr. Rogasian Msafiri. Leadership ranks from the General Coordinator, Deputy General Coordinator, General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary & General Treasurer. Thereafter each ministry has its own leaders ranking in a similar way from Coordinator to Treasurer. The seniors are always there to assure proper conduct is maintained.

Fellowship: The fellowship strength has greatly extended to over hundred (100) engineering students and several graduated engineers from the same college. The family is growing largely as the Lord JESUS CHRIST himself saves his people. The members are grown up to stand alone in prayers, to have faith in GOD in all that they do, always be grateful to GOD, Proper offering to GOD, to proclaim JESUS, our faith through our daily lives. We learn the Bible and live it.

Groups:    The family had moved toward college students and touch their lives directly though social groups like GMP, OBRIGADO.

Call: Many engineering and education students are getting back to the real life of the Bible now and testify that;

'Many youth know what is the correct way to live but they just don't like it because it would hinder their freedom to live as youths'

But for now they are testifying that;
'they have lost nothing yet. They can do most of the things now with confidence before GOD and life as Youth is still good and even better; their happier than what they thought they would be. YOUTH do enjoy in here'

Calling you youth coming to JESUS, while you are yet a CHRISTIAN is a call that wants you to live the BIBLE and not just knowing it and read it, or used to hear scriptures somewhere near your home place. Join this group of youth, engineering students at the college to widen your mind, knowledge and skills.
